Mabel-Canton’s Bode Wiedemann and Lanesboro’s Caden Johnson go at it in the teams’ Saturday SEC game. Johnson had 19 (pts) and 12 (rebs) to help the Burros to a 75-62 win.

LeRoy-Ostrander 67, Glenville-Emmons 54 (L-O: C. Hungerholt 34 pts (6-14 threes), 7 rebs, 5 stls; R. Hungerholt 16 pts; Carter Sweeney 10 pts, 5 rebs. The Cardinals ended a four-game losing streak)
Southland 58, #18 in A Spring Grove 49 (SG: J. Strinmoen 15 pts, 13 rebs 4 asts; B. Udstuen 13 pts, 5 rebs; J. Olerud 11 pts, 6 rebs, 4 asts. Southland ended SG’s 41-game SEC winning streak. The Rebels separated in the first half with a 12-0 run and when the Lions got back within two points in the second half, Southland (5-1, 6-2) secured the win with an 8-0 run)

Houston 55, Lanesboro 51 (H: M. Rohweder 22 pts (5-9 threes), 9 rebs; Carter Geiwitz 8 pts, 11 rebs; Maddox Rodriguez 9 pts; Alex Wedl 8 pts, 8 rebs. L: Will Harvey 15 pts; Caden Johnson 10 pts, 9 rebs; Mason Howard 9 pts; David Harvey 5 pts, 18 rebs. In a game with no double-digit leads, Lanesboro never led. Wedl scored on a pair of in-bounds plays late to put Houston up 49-44. After the Burros cut it to 50-49, Rodriguez converted a three-point play making it 53-49. He scored the next possession for a 55-49 lead. Lanesboro was 2 of 18 (11%) from three, Houston 6 of 22 (27%). Offensive rebounds: L 27, H 10)
