Jamie Fenske’s GMLOK Bulldogs are off to a 5-2 start. Included was a five-game win streak, notable considering the Bulldogs are down two starters (best pitcher Drew Copley, Cody Merkel). Last year, Chatfield softball started the year 22-0. They won’t recreate that this year, but Mark Eickhoff’s #8 in Class AA Gophers had a good week, minus one quickly redeemed blip.
