January 26, 2023 by Fillmore County Journal

Sandra Wright Obituary - Fillmore County Journal

Sandra Ann Wright, of Chatfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at her home in Chatfield.

Sandra Ann Schneckloth was born in Rochester December 19, 1956, to Gerald and Rita (Christopher) Schneckloth. She grew up in Racine, Minn., and graduated in 1975 from Stewartville High School. She met Paul Wright at the roller rink in Stewartville and they were married in 1976. They moved to Chatfield where they raised their four children. Sandra enjoyed being a stay at home mom to her children until she found a passion with the meat processing industry. Through her years she worked for Huckstadt Meats, R Four Meats and then joined her son at Wright Meats. Sandra had a heart of gold, a work ethic like no other, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was everything to her, she never missed a birthday or anniversary. Paul was the love of her life.

Sandra is survived by her husband Paul Wright, four children: Susan (Kelly) Connaughty of Rochester, Lynn (Evan) VonWald of Chatfield, Thomas (Brianna) Wright of Chatfield, and Tyler (Jessica) Wright of St. Charles; 12 grandchildren: Madison, Austin, Zedrick, Avrianna, Esta, Aiden, Zayden, Isabelle, Alexis, Abigail, Gabrielle, and Myles; father-in-law William Wright of Chatfield, two sisters, Lisa Nelson of Rochester and Brenda Witt of Baltimore, Md., brother Gary (Debbie) Schneckloth of Grand Meadow, and 18 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Rita, and mother-in-law Mary Wright.

Funeral service for Sandra will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023, at United Methodist Church in Chatfield, with Pastor Debra Jene Collum officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday January 29, from 12-2 p.m. at the church and one hour before the service on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wright family. Riley Funeral Home is assisting the Wright family with arrangements.  Online condolences are welcome at rileyfuneralhomes.com.
