According to Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge, an arrest was made on the morning of Decembe 13, in a lengthy drug investigation.
Beau William Block, age 39, of Rushford, was arrested after turning himself in at the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office on December 13, 2021. During an investigation by the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team that began in late 2020, a search warrant was executed at 510 West Stevens Avenue in Rushford, in which 48 grams of suspected methamphetamine was seized. An arrest warrant charging Block with first degree possession of a controlled substance was later issued. Fillmore County Deputies, along with Rushford Police Department Officers had been actively attempting to apprehend Block before he turned himself in. Block is currently being held in the Fillmore County Jail pending a court appearance.
