Robert N. Housker, age 71, of rural Mabel, died Monday, October 4, 2021, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn. from injuries received in a farming accident.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16 at the Scheie Lutheran Church in rural Mabel, with the Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the church cemetery. Donna is the youngest daughter of Lucilke (Aasum) Hareldson. I (Donna) was fortunate to see Robert back in 1981 when visiting sister Cheryl in England. I have heard that Robert mentioned this visit and our travels … in a VW Bug named Barnaby … lol… to a northern part of the UK often. Although it has been 40 yrs since last seeing him, we too have remembered him in conversations on many occasions!
