Robert K. Masters, Fort Worth, Tex., passed away on March 19, 2018. Robert was born November 16, 1939, in Harmony, Minn. Robert grew up in Harmony, Minn. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He married Ruby Maderer, Premont, Tex., on June 18, 1961. After his military experience, Bob spent a career in the oil field industry and lived in Texas, Alaska and Wyoming, with retirement years living in South Texas.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Norma Masters and an infant son, Bradley. Survivors are his spouse Ruby and children: Kim Smith (Bo), Weatherford, Tex., Robert Jr., (John) Allen, Tex., Shelley Ebeling (Rodney), Salado, Tex., and Mandy Boname (Mark), Casper, Wyo.; grandchildren: Russell, Jared, Raegen, Clayton, Hayden, Chloe and Chase, two great-grandchildren, Whitley and Charli, nine siblings: Ardath Johnson, Gerald Masters (Vivian), Phyllis Johnson (Tom), Jean Watson (Bob), Elaine Ruff (Roger), Marcia Goss (Mike), Lynnette Rochford (Charlie), Rhonda Masters, Jim Masters (Gail); and several nieces and nephews.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family; he had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed a good joke. He enjoyed hunting and spending time in the mountains.
A celebration of life is planned for this summer.
