ST. PAUL – State Representative Greg Davids (R-Preston) announces that the City of Harmony has been selected to receive a significant broadband grant.
“I congratulate the city and state officials who worked together and made this financing happen,” Davids said. “Reliable broadband is critical to the future success of our rural communities, and this grant will help address that need.”
According to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) the $2,245,849 Minnesota Community Development Block Grant COVID-19 grant (CDBG-CV) for Harmony will be used specifically for broadband improvement.
In all, 15 Minnesota cities and counties received $34,656,956 from the grant program.
