ST. PAUL – State Representative Greg Davids (R-Preston) announces that two local projects have received history grants from Minnesota Legacy appropriations from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
“I’d like to congratulate the local leaders who worked closely with state officials to secure this funding,” Davids said.
The Fillmore County Historical Society in Fountain will receive $60,000 to design a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a museum collection space.
$104,901 will be allocated to the Harmony Area Historical Society so it can complete a stabilization construction project for the McMichael Grain Elevator, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
