Adopt Agenda with the addition of the resignation of Madelyn Cone, Assistant Dance

  Coach. This motion, made by Ken Sawle and seconded by Jeff Michel, Passed.

Approve all consent agenda items as presented with the addition of the resignation of

Madelyn Cone, Assistant Dance Coach. This motion, made by Jeff Michel and 

seconded by Nancy Snyder, Passed.

6.A.July 21, 2025, Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes and August 11, 2025, Special

Meeting Minutes

6.B.July Donations in the amount of $200.00

6.C.July hand payables & payroll liabilities in the amount of $366,295.31

6.D.July payroll in the amount of $358,569.27

6.E.August board bills in the amount of $217,688.47

6.F.July Financial Summary Reports

6.G.PERSONNEL:

  • Hires: Ava Drazkowski and Haylee Payne – MS Volleyball, Andrea Larson – 9th

7.A.First Reading of Policies

  • 407-Employee Right to Know – Exposure to Hazardous Substances
  • 408-Subpoena of a School District Employee
  • 409-Employee Publications, Instructional Materials, Interventions, and Creations
  • 534-School Meals Policy

Approve the first readings of policies 407, 408, 409, and 534 without changes. This

motion, made by Matt Helgemoe and seconded by Carl Schollmeier, Passed.

7.B.Set the date and time for the Truth and Taxation meeting – Monday, December 15,

2025 at 5:30 PM in the Rushford-Peterson Schools Forum Room.

Approve the Truth and Taxation meeting – Monday, December 15, 2025 at 5:30 PM in

the Rushford-Peterson Schools Forum Room. This motion, made by Carl Schollmeier

and seconded by Jeff Michel, Passed.

7.C.Review bids for snow removal and garbage removal

Move to continue with Atkinson Construction for snow removal and LRS for ga

bage removal for one year. This motion, made by Chris Grindland and seconded by

Nancy Snyder, Passed.

7.D.Review and approve handbooks for the 2025-2026 school year.

Approve Student handbooks as presented for the 2025-2026 school year. This

motion, made by Nancy Snyder and seconded by Jeff Michel, Passed.

7.E.Set the adult breakfast/lunch price for 2025-26 to the MDE required minimum

amount.

Move to set the Minimum Adult Meal Prices to the MDE Required amount when

released. Currently Breakfast – $2.40 and Lunch – $5.00. This motion, made by Ken

Sawle and seconded by Chris Grindland, Passed.

7.F.Approve Addendum to the Review and Comment on the Building Referendum

Approve the resolution to approve the addendum to the review and comment as

presented. This motion, made by Ken Sawle and seconded by Nancy Snyder,

Passed.
