The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Preston will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 5:00pm to consider multiple variance requests from Andy Bunge.
Mr. Bunge, owner of the subject property at 309 North Street NE, is proposing to build two duplexes on the property. Mr. Bunge is requesting the following variances.
Variance #1: The zoning ordinance requires a minimum lot depth of 120 feet. Mr. Bunge is requesting a variance to allow a minimum lot depth of 118 feet.
Variance #2: The zoning ordinance requires a minimum lot size of 5,000 square feet. Mr. Bunge is requesting a variance to allow for minimum lot sizes of 3,422 square feet, 3,540 square feet, 3,540 square feet and 4,366 square feet.
Variance #3: The zoning ordinance requires a minimum lot width of 50 feet. Mr. Bunge is requesting a variance to allow for minimum lot widths of 29 feet, 30 feet, 30 feet and 37 feet.
Variance #4: The zoning ordinance requires a side setback of 15 feet. Mr. Bunge is requesting a variance to allow side setbacks of 5 feet, 6 feet, 6 feet and 13 feet.
The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
