Patricia “Pat” Jack

March 20, 2025 by Fillmore County Journal

Patricia Jack obituary, Fillmore county Journal

It is with great sorrow to share the news that our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Jack, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 17, 2025.

She was born on March 24, 1953, in Rochester, Minn., to Eugene and Mary Ann (Caflisch) Jack. Pat was a 1971 graduate of Chosen Valley High School, Chatfield, Minn. She had a long career at Mayo Clinic working in the Information Technology department.

Pat leaves a wonderful legacy in her family, friends, and those whose hearts she touched. Pat will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, her witty sense of humor, her kind and giving heart, and her love for gardening, especially beautiful florals, a joy and passion she shared with her own mother.

Pat is survived by her two daughters: Karen (Jeff) Wesselmann of New Ulm, Minn., and Whitney Jack, (Bobby Watson) of Rochester, Minn.; her grandson Riley and great-grandson Greyson, brother David Patrick Jack, Monument, Colo.; and her nephews Bryan (Jennifer) Jack, Adam Jack and Jared Jack; along with many other beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Mary Ann Jack, and three siblings: Dennis, Linda, and Karen.

Pat’s celebration of life will be held in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester on Monday, March 24, 2025. Yes, on her birthday. She was really looking forward to the plans we had with her this year, and it just so turns out this might be her biggest birthday celebration yet. The service will begin at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held starting one hour prior to the service (10 a.m.) with a luncheon planned immediately following the service. Her remains will be interred in St. Bridget Cemetery, Simpson, Minn.

In memory of Pat, as the spring draws near, plant a floral garden, build a birdhouse, or plant a tree in her memory, and feel free to share these beautiful things with family to aid in keeping her memory alive.

Online condolences are welcome at www.mackenfuneralhome.com.
