SECTION 1. COMPENSATION OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS AND SECTION 2B & 2C. COMPENSATION FOR OTHER MEETINGS
The City of Rushford Village Council adopted an amendment to the City of Rushford Village Ordinance #9 “An Ordinance Of The City Of Rushford Village Establishing Compensation For Elected Officials As Required By Law” on April 5, 2022. This amendment pertains to Section 1 and Section 2B & 2C to read as follows:
SECTION 1. COMPENSATION OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. The compensation of the Mayor and the compensation of each Council Member shall be established from time to time by City Council ordinance pursuant to M.S. ‘ 415.11, as it may be amended from time to time.
SECTION 2. COMPENSATION FOR OTHER MEETINGS. City of Rushford Village Elected Officials shall be compensated for other meetings they attend in their official capacity as follows:
B. Compensation for other meetings held outside the boundaries of the City of Rushford Village shall be on an hourly basis, including travel time as established from time to time by City Council ordinance pursuant to M.S. ‘ 415.11, as it may be amended from time to time.
C. Additional Compensation shall be provided to the Mayor for a minimum of ten (10) hours per month including travel time, as established from time to time by City Council ordinance pursuant to M.S. ‘ 415.11, as it may be amended from time to time for fulfilling the mayor’s responsibilities.
This Ordinance Amendment becomes effective January 1, 2023.
