NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MODIFICATION OF MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1,
THE APPROVAL OF THE
MODIFIED DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
RELATED THERETO, THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-7 AND THE ADOPTION OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO,
AND THE PROPOSED BUSINESS SUBSIDY TO DAIRYLAND POWER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Harmony, Fillmore County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers in City Hall, located at 225 3rd Avenue SW in the City of Harmony, Minnesota, relating to (a) the proposed modification of Municipal Development District No. 1, (b) the proposed approval of the modified Development Program related thereto, (c) the proposed establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-7, (d) the proposed adoption of the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto, and (e) the proposed Business Subsidy to Dairyland Power, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and 469.174 to 469.1794, inclusive, as amended (the “Act”) and the requirements of the Minnesota Business Subsidy Statutes 116J.993 through 116J.995. Copies of the Development Program, Tax Increment Financing Plan, and Business Subsidy Contract as proposed to be modified and adopted, will be on file and available for public inspection at the office of the City Administrator at City Hall.
The properties proposed to be affected by Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-7 are described in the Tax Increment Financing Plan on file in the office of the City Administrator. A map of the Tax Increment Financing District is set forth below:
All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their view orally or in writing.
Any person with residence in or owner of taxable property in the City of Harmony may file a written complaint with the City if the City fails to comply with the Minnesota Statutes noted above. If written notice is not filed with the City, no action may be filed against the City for failure to comply.
