This publication shall constitute public notice, including public notice to all residents and property owners within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of a proposed project. This notice is required by Min-nesota State Law and given by Eric Ruen, property owner, who is making application with the county of Fillmore for a permit to construct or expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more. The address of this feedlot is 32792 County 8, Lanesboro MN 55949, legally described as located in the NE1/4 of the NW ¼ S14, T-103-N, R-10-W. This site has an existing hog finishing barn, feedlot registration number 045-90163, permitted for 500 head of hogs, 150 animal units which will be taken down. The new hog finishing building to be constructed will hold 2,400 head (720 animal units) and be approximately 102’ x 192’ in size. The building will have an engineered 8’-foot deep, poured, reinforced, concrete pit for manure storage.
