The City Council of the City of Preston will receive quotations at the City Clerk’s Office until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, for the purchase of rock and bituminous mixture.
Quotations will be publicly opened at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Preston City Hall.
Quotations shall include pricing for the following:
Rock – Delivered to and Within the City of Preston:
- 5/8” street rock with fines
- 1 ½” minus (with fines)
- 2” coarse rock
Rock – Loaded onto City Truck at Quarry:
- 5/8” street rock with fines
- 1 ½” minus (with fines)
- 2” coarse rock
Bituminous Mixture:
- Quotations for bituminous mixture (specifications to be included by bidder).
The City reserves the right to reject any or all quotations and to waive any informalities in the best interest of the City.
