Muriel Weimerslage obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Muriel R. Wiemerslage, 88, of Caledonia, passed away Monday May 2, 2022, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.  

She was born in Houston County, Minn., to Herman and Irma (Krick) Kuecker. On February 15, 1952, she married George Wiemerslage and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2018. 

Muriel and George made their home in the New Albin/Eitzen area for six years and then moved to their current home in rural Caledonia. 

Survivors include one daughter, Beverly (Don) Landsom; one son, Gary (Denise) Wiemerslage; grandchildren: Corey (Angela), Chad (Suzanne), Craig (Lisa), Adam (Ashley), Kelli, Brian (Kelly), and Greg (Becca); great-grandchildren: Damian, Caleb, Olivia, Caitlyn, Kylie, Aubrey, Jaiden, Trista, Addison, Ari, Braxton, Abby, Libby, Ryker, Izabelle, Gavin, Carson, McKenzie, Grace, Austin, and Adrick, 

In addition to her parents and husband, Muriel was preceded in death by her son Robert, her granddaughter Shelley, grandson Kyle, great-grandson Bennet, brothers William and David, brother in infancy Gerald, and sister Joyce (Raymond) Klinski.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday May 10, 2022, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eitzen. Rev. Todd Krueger will officiate. Following a time for food and fellowship, burial will be in the church cemetery. 

Jandt Fredrickson Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
