Milton L. Jetson, 87, of Harmony, Minn., died at his home on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Milton was born November 17, 1929, in Mabel to Elsworth and Jesse (Sherburne) Jetson.  He attended the Canton and Mabel Schools.  He served in the United States Air Force. On July 5, 1980, he married Donna Shoults Sokolik.

Milton did many jobs over the years, but his main one, and the one he truly enjoyed, was driving school bus in the Harmony area.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Milton is survived by his wife Donna of Harmony; children Teresa (Byron) Kolz of Plymouth, Minn., Della (Clovis Woxland) Mehaffey of Mabel, Diana Ruffing of Temple, Tex., David (Liz) Jetson of Rapid City, S. Dak., Wesley (Louanne) Jetson of Italy, Tex., Monte (Lori) Jetson of Cotati, Calif., Roxane Jetson of Mesa, Ariz, Deb (Larry) Schaefer of Apple Valley, Minn., and Steven (Alisa) Sokolik of Trempealeau, Wis.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Mervin Tripp of Winona; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Charlotte Tripp and Phyllis Billmeyer; and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017, at Mabel First Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in the Mabel Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3–7 p.m. Sunday, October 22, at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel and one hour prior to services at the church.
