My name is Karen Folstad. I’m married to Mike and have two sons, Zach and Sam. I co-own E. F. Library Services, a business I’ve run for the past 14 years. Spring Grove is where I was born and raised, and I’ve lived here all of my life.
Why are you running for office?
Spring Grove is my hometown and I want to see it continue to be a great place to live. I feel I can continue to use my experience in running a business to help make the decisions needed to keep the city vibrant.
What do you hope to accomplish if you get elected?
I hope to continue working through projects that we’ve started over the past couple of year and would especially like to see us complete long-range planning for the city.
