Marilyn Bingel obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Marilyn J. Bingel, 85, of Rochester, Minn., died on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Marilyn was born June 9, 1938, in Chicago, Ill. to Paul and Erna (Reinars) Israel. She graduated from Palatine High School in Illinois and married Willard Bingel, Jr., her high school sweetheart, in 1960. She worked for Kemper Insurance in the litigation department before retiring. Her pride and joy were her grandsons Keagan and Nathan Clarke and Kyler Bingel. We will miss her laugh and kind heart.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter Beth (Patrick) Clarke, Chatfield, Minn., son David Bingel, Columbus, Ohio, and son Bradley (Eriko) Bingel, Barrington, Ill.; grandsons Keagan and Nathan Clarke and Kyler Bingel; sister Alice Wohl, sister-in-law Nancy Israel and brother Raymond (Gail) Israel; brother-in-law Ronald Bingel, Arlington Heights, Ill.; and sister-in-law Nancy Young, Crystal Lake, Ill.; along with many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, her sister Florence and brother-in-Law Ralph Erdmann, brother-in-law Ted Wohl, sister Carol and brother-in-law Gail Bach, brother Allen Israel and brother-in-law Robert Young.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. with a service following at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 770 Robert Ave. SW, Eyota, Minn. A burial is scheduled at a future date in Illinois.
