He worked his last 22 years at 3M in Texas.

Lonny loved riding his Harley-Davidson XLCH, including cross country trips between California and Minnesota.  Bow hunting was a life long love.  He harvested many animals, including many deer, six bear, antelope, caribou, elk, and cougar.  Two of his animals are in the Pope and Young record book.  Lonny was an excellent fisherman.  He fished Canada and the upper midwest for walleye and northern pike.  He fished Texas for red drum and whiting.  His biggest fish was a sailfish caught in Costa Rica.

Lonny is survived by his wife Jane, sister Lonette Streiff of Eyota, nephews Laine Streiff of Eyota and Lorne (Caroline) Streiff of Hastings, grandnephew Andrew (Asper) Streiff and their daughter Raiden, grandniece Molly (Andrew) Rivera, dear friend Larry Streiff of Rochester, brothers-in-law Scott (Trudy) Soffa of Rochester and Keith (Becky) Soffa of Adel, Iowa, and their daughters Janel and Rachel.

A special thanks to Lonny’s angels at Seasons Hospice for their loving care.
