Lion Girls Harness Burros Again

February 16, 2024 by Lee Epps

The Spring Grove girls wrapped a three-game, three-win week with a 62-46 home win while completing a season sweep of Lanesboro. The Burros (8-8, 5-3 SEC) trailed by three at halftime (28-25) and only 44-42 until turnovers helped the Lions roar away with an 18-to-2 run. The Grove girls improved to 13-2 overall, including a league-leading 9-0 SEC record.
