Linda Kern obituary, Fillmore county Journal
Linda Kern, age 76, died on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Traditions of Preston, in Preston, Minn.

There will be a visitation for Linda from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Preston, Minn., and will be immediately followed by burial in Washington Cemetery in Spring Valley, Minn.

Linda May Taylor was born on May 7, 1948, in in Austin, Minn., to Mabry Jr. and Betty (Harding) Taylor.  She attended and graduated from Spring Valley High School, and grew up on the family farm.  She loved riding horses in her younger years, even riding to school.  Linda married Raymond Reese on June 3, 1967.  To this union, they had three children: Rachel (Danny) Dahl, Raymond Jr. (Helen) Reese, and Scott (Tammy) Reese.  They later divorced.  Linda worked for Halcon for many years, in furniture manufacturing, retiring in 2014.  She enjoyed her daily visits to the bowling alley in Preston with friends.

Linda is survived by her three children, her five grandchildren: Justin (Alysha) Dahl, Brianna (Tom) Wright, Betsy Balk, Stephanie Reese, and Scott Reese; eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Diane Grabau and Donna (Bob) Conlan.
