Linda (Blegen) Fuhs, 80, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, in Mabel, Minn., surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on March 4, 1944, in Spring Grove, Minn., Lin grew up in a close-knit community and graduated from Spring Grove High School.
Lin will be remembered for her kind heart, her warmth, and the way she touched the lives of everyone she met.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Lin cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She was known for her great sense of humor, which will be lovingly remembered through the stories shared by those who knew her best. In her later years, Lin found happiness escaping the cold Minnesota winters by spending time with her beloved partner Neal, in Canyon Lake, Tex. Their time together was filled with love and companionship.
Lin was preceded in death by her parents Leonard Blegen and Evelyn Blegen Langland, and her brother Larry Blegen.
She is survived by her children Chris (Katie) Hill of Lakeville, Minn., Nicci (Silas) McPherson of Arvada, Colo., and David (Theresa) Fuhs of Mendota Heights, Minn.; her three grandchildren: Josh Hill, Nolan Fuhs and Nora Fuhs; her sister Michelle (Paul) Gulbranson, nephew Zac Gulbranson, nieces Amy (Jason) Hall and Laura Gulbranson, sister-in-law Solveig Blegen, and her loving life partner, Neal Telford.
Lin’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and the joy of family. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through the cherished memories she leaves behind.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday ,November 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove, Minn.
Refreshments will be provided in the Fellowship Hall immediately following.
