To the Editor,

I am urging all citizens who live in Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District to vote for Dan Feehan in November.  Dan has served the people of his country already in various ways, as a former teacher, as an Army soldier, and as acting Assistant Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon. He is extremely qualified to serve and represent us in Washington, and wants to do  important things like: make healthcare and prescription drugs affordable, protect Social Security and Medicare, strengthen our ag economy, honor our veterans, fight for working families, prepare our young people for the future, and combat climate change. He has clearly laid out his plans for how he wants to address these issues to help make our lives better once he gets to Washington. I guarantee you that there an issue that he wants to address that affects you, whether it is ensuring that insurance companies are never again able to take away coverage from people with pre-existing conditions, working to fully restore the RFS, promoting policies that encourage diversity in the crops we grow and the markets we sell to, pushing for greater investments in infrastructure, creating more wind turbines and solar farms to create new jobs for southern Minnesotans, working with small businesses and community leaders to identify unnecessary regulations that burden small business owners, working with labor unions, trade schools, and technical colleges to ensure that our young people have access to high-paying jobs in the trades or technical jobs, strengthening our K-12 education system, working to control the costs of childcare for our working parents, or moving towards clean and renewable energy.

Dan wants to tackle so much for us on our behalf, let’s get him in there and let him get to work!
