ORDINANCE #71.035 PERMITTING AND REGULATING PARKING AT LOCATION COMMONLY KNOWN AS “BALLFIELD” PARKING AREA

CITY OF LANESBORO, FILLMORE COUNTY, MINNESOTA

The following is a summary of the above-mentioned Ordinance # 71.035 Permitting and Regulating Parking at Location Commonly Known as Ballfield Parking Area, approved by the Lanesboro City Council, the full version of which is available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours at the office of the City Clerk at the Lanesboro City Hall, and at the Lanesboro Public Library. To
summarize, this ordinance:

Regulates parking at the Lanesboro Softball Field area by establishing eight parking spaces to be used by Commercial and non-profit organizations. Establishment of these parking spaces was deemed necessary to reduce parking congestion in the downtown area. Individual permits shall be issued for each established parking space. There shall be a limit of one permit per individual/organization. Permits should be obtained prior to April 01. Permits shall be valid from April 01 through October 01, or the first snowfall, whichever occurs first. Previous permit holders will be given preference for annual renewal. After April 01, permits, if available, shall be issued on a first come, first served basis.
