Kevin Hareldson obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Kevin E. Hareldson, age 38, of Winona, passed away on October 9, 2025, at Mayo Health System-Rochester on St. Marys Campus surrounded by his family.

Kevin Eugene Hareldson was born on August 3, 1987, the son of Diane Kay Hareldson in Spring Valley. He attended school in Lanesboro and graduated from Mabel-Canton High School in 2005. He bought his first chainsaw at a young age and logged for Raymond Reese. He married Jacqueline Krosch on August 23, 2008, in Rochester. They shared three children and later divorced. He worked maintenance at Badger Equipment and RTP in Winona.

Kevin loved to hunt, fish and ride his Harley. He greatly enjoyed time with his family and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Lanesboro.

He is survived by his three children: Tristen J., Trinity K., and Jasper N., all of Winona; his mother Diane (Raymond Reese) Hareldson of Preston, his brother Caleb (Samantha) of Lanesboro, his nieces and nephews Daxyn, Charlie, Cabe and Demi; and grandmother Ruth Hareldson of Stewartville. He is further survived by his bonus sister Rachel (Danny) Dahl of Chatfield, bonus brothers Raymond Jr. “Skip” (Helen) Reese of Preston, Scott Reese of Fountain and Mike Reese of Stewartville; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Orris and Lucille Hareldson and cousins Emily Hareldson and Jill Froyum.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro, with Pastor Heidi Wallace officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Hoff Funeral Home in Lanesboro from 6-8 p.m. and again at the church one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Lanesboro Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Dahl, Jenna Redalen, Amy Fry and Brandon Hareldson.
