Karen S. Riddle, 74, of Wykoff, Minn., died on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at her home.
Karen Sue Sulenski was born on July 13, 1948, to Jon and Pauline (Kruger) Sulenski in Chicago, Ill. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Riddle on November 20, 1972, and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday. Karen moved to Minnesota in 1980. She was a housewife for many years and then worked at Rochester Textile for 25 years. She retired on November 2, 2011. After retirement, Karen devoted her time to her grandchildren. Her favorite things were sewing, reading and shopping online.
Karen is survived by her husband Larry Riddle of Wykoff, children Carl (Sonja) Riddle of Rochester, Minn., Lorie Crowson of Wykoff, Alex (Windy) Riddle of Austin, Minn., and Becky (Scott) Aarsvold of Spring Valley, Minn.; grandchildren Jesse (Krista) Crowson, Ryan (Kallie) Crowson, Emma Crowson, Jordan and Grace Riddle, and Gavin and Isabel Aarsvold; great-grandchildren Madison, Kane, Hank and Marina Crowson, and two bonus great-grandchildren, Brayton and Chloe DeCook; sister Melody Sulenski, brothers-in-law Brian (Julia) Riddle and Rick (Kathy) Riddle, sisters-in-law Dawna (Jesse) Fleming and Gail (Tim) Strode; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jon and Pauline Sulenski, sisters Dawn Claywell and Diane Sulenski, mother and father-in-law Earl and Peggy Riddle.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Wykoff United Methodist Church in Wykoff, with Pastor Bridget Sheely officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
