Julia Fackrell Obituary - Fillmore County Journal

Julia “Julie” Fackrell, age 77, entered into rest peacefully in her home on April 18, 2022, in Enumclaw Wash.  Julie was born in Preston, Minn., in 1944, to Leonard and Frances Hendershott-Severson.  She attended Carimona Country School and then Preston Elementary School in Minnesota before moving to Depew, N. Y. in 1956.  She graduated from Depew High School in 1962.  In 1972, Julie moved to California. Julie married Joseph (Joe) Robert Fackrell in 1984.  Together Joe and Julie shared their love of breeding and showing horses. Julie retired from Wells Fargo Advisors in Seattle in 2009, where she worked in administration and compliance for 15 years. 

Julie is survived by daughter Tammy Milling-Dumler (Mark), grandchildren Kayla and Jeremy, stepson Lonnie Fackrell (Terri), sister Jane Krueger (Allen), and other extended family and friends.

Julia is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, infant brother Lawrence, son Jeffrey Allen Offhaus, brother-in-law Keith Pickett and nephew Michael Pickett.

A committal service for Julie and Joe will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 12- 12:30 p.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, 715 U.S. 52, Preston, Minn.  A celebration of life luncheon will follow the service, at B&B Olympic Bowl, 401 Kansas Street NW, Preston.

Memorials are suggested to the National Cancer Society.
