Fillmore County Journal - Judy Vonch Obituary

Judy Raye (Pavelka) Vonch, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, at Seasons Hospice House in Rochester.

Judy Raye Pavelka was born to Francis and Rachel (Tentis) Pavelka on November 29, 1944, in Wabasha. In December 1963 she married Darrell Lobland. They had four daughters and were later divorced. She married Duanne “Ski” Kosloski on July 3, 1987. He passed away in August 1993. On November 27, 1996, she married Duane “Do” Vonch. They were reunited in heaven on the five-year anniversary of his passing.

Judy enjoyed baking, journaling, and watching the birds. She spent many years working at Telex in Rochester.

Judy is survived by daughters Marni (Bill) Woltz, Jodi Dahl, and Katie Lobland; step-children Craig (Linda) Vonch, Candy (Mark) Hatch, and Christine Nelson; brothers Kenny (Jean) and John (Peg) Pavelka;  sister Barb (Bill) Demming, grandchildren Mandi, Megan, Samantha, Gavin, Mavis, Louis, Mike, Brittany, Erik, Katy, and Marissa; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her three husbands, brothers Donny and Jim, daughter Keta, and stepdaughter Casey.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, from 1-3 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield. Judy will be cremated. A spring burial will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Kellogg.
