Joyce Ann Krueger, of Lime Springs, Iowa, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She died at Riceville Family Care & Therapy Center in Riceville, Iowa, at the age of 81.
Joyce was born on December 25, 1940, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Milton and Elsie (Thompson) Krueger. She attended school in Manson and Lime Springs, Iowa. Joyce was 15 years old when she came to know the Lord and listened faithfully to “Back to the Bible” radio. She went to Bible school in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, then started farming.
Joyce is survived by her brother Jerald Krueger and sister-in-law Marie Krueger, two nieces, Barbara (Doran) Kasel and Bonnie (Keith) Knode; nine great-nieces and nephews: Monica, Jessica, Becky, Jeff, James, Laura, Brian, Stephanie, and Matthew; 10 great-great-nieces and nephews, and friend Sheryl Ellison.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minn., with Pastor Gary Gilbert officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home.
