Jeffrey Webster, of Green Valley, Ariz., died on February 25, 2021 at the age of 79.
Jeff was born in 1941 in Idaho to his parents Leon and Marjorie Webster. After graduating from high school in Rochester, Minn., Jeff explored life for a bit as a fishing guide and for the forest service in Idaho and Montana. He returned to Minnesota and attended St. Paul School of Art. In 1965, he married Judith Webster and the couple had two children, Eric and Margie. He worked in graphic design roles at the Idaho National Laboratory, the Mayo Clinic, the University of Minnesota, the University of Calgary Alberta, Control Data and Idaho State University. They returned to Minnesota in 1978, where he started his own ad agency. He semi-retired in 2012 and became in his words, “a snowbird” in Green Valley, Ariz., where he volunteered at the University of Arizona Mirror Lab as well as local parks, enjoying birding and hiking.
Jeff will be loved and missed by surviving family: former wife Judith Webster, son Eric Webster (Tracey), daughter Margie Anderson (Erik); granddaughters Lauren Webster, Mady Webster and Tanya Anderson; and grandson Trevor Anderson. He is preceded in death by his father and mother.
No services will be held. Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the The National Audubon Society or Habitat for Humanity in his name.
