In Loving Memory of James Berning
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at the community room of his son Richard’s residence, 2121 Sims Place, La Crosse, Wis.
James was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who made his home in Buffalo, Wyo., for the past 40 years. He was married to the love of his life, Joan Berning, for 63 years. James passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025.
His memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

I remember the fun that we had playing softball in Ostrander with Larry’s team which dick,, Jim,Larry Gary k and Gary n Tom Scag. And others who all enjoyed the game the game and the fun after.
