The Houston County Historical Society will hold their annual Old Fashioned Christmas on Saturday, December 2, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Sunday, December 3, 12-3 p.m.
The museum has been decorated with several beautiful Christmas Trees with decorations belonging to Janene Hosch, Lolita St. Mary and Janice Doering of Caledonia.
Of special interest are pedal tractors from the collection of Dallas Nelson, Houston. Dallas is bringing some of his rare tractors and also two that children can ride. Also on display by Dallas will be 1/16 model farm toys.
George Moe, Caledonia, will demonstrate wood carving featuring Egyptian carvings. Christmas aprons will be displayed courtesy of Marilyn Hempstead, La Crosse.
Visit the new exhibits at the Society including World War I, Underground Railroad quilt pattern display, Grand Crossing, Minnesota and the Southern Minnesota Railroad.
Audrey Almo, Caledonia will provide seasonal accordion music for all to enjoy. There will be a Christmas craft for children to take home. Refreshments will be served.
