Aubrie Klug scored 28 points as top-seed #5 in AA Caledonia beat 16-seed La Crescent/Hokah 85-25 in the 1AA girls playoffs.  The Warriors (24-3) move on to face 9-seed Z-M (13-14).  Section 1A 2-seed SG/M-C topped L-O 71-38 behind Siri Konkel’s 18 (pts) and 11 (asts).  Jensyn Storhoff went for 21 (pts) and 13 (stls) as 7-seed Lanesboro topped 10-seed BP 57-33.  The Lions (21-5) and Burros (16-11) next do battle.  Gracie Foster scored 23 points as 3-seed GM topped 14-seed W-K 62-33 for their 15th straight win. Aubry Boldt scored 29 points as 6-seed Houston topped 11-seed K-W 56-47.  The Larks (23-2) and Hurricanes (17-8) next do battle.   Four-seed R-P topped 13-seed L/P 73-34.  The Trojans (16-9) will next play 5-seed Southland (17-8).   Eight-seed FC held on versus 9-seed Faribault B.A. 56-50.  The Falcons (14-13) next play 1-seed #1 in Class A Goodhue (21-5).  Caledonia’s boys beat Cotter 66-48 to complete a sweep of the TRC, each win by at least 17 points.  The #3 in AA Warriors (14-0, 24-2) are 1AA’s 1-seed, will host 16-seed Albert Lea (6-19).  Carson Harstad scored 25 points as Chatfield beat D-E 70-50.  The Gophers (5-10, 11-15) are 1AA’s 11-seed, will play at 6-seed L-A (18-8).  Josh Haugerud (24), Greg Kennedy (21) and Bridon Bahl (20) also scored 20-plus points, but FC fell to La Crescent/Hokah 87-85 in two overtimes on a buzzer beater.  The Falcons (6-8, 11-15) are 1A’s 7-seed, will host 10-seed K-W (13-13).  Houston finished the year with wins over M-C 64-30 and GM 75-52.  Carter Geiwitz scored 26 versus the Larks.  Nick Taylor scored 25 as Lanesboro beat M-C 51-37.  Winners of five of six, SEC East division champ Houston (14-4, 18-8) is 1A’s 5-seed, will host 12-seed Lanesboro (8-10, 11-14).  In play-in games, M-C (6-12, 9-17) is the 14-seed, hosts 19-seed Faribault B.A. (2-21), and GM (4-14, 5-20) is the 16-seed, hosts 17-seed L/P (3-23).  Max Erdman scored 21 as Kingsland beat W-K 63-52.  The Knights (10-8, 15-10) are 1A’s 6-seed, host 11-seed L-O (13-13).
