Coming back from down 6-0, R-P baseball got a Creighton Hoiness walk-off RBI single to top D-E 9-8. Chase Johnston drove in four runs and Ben Carrier threw out the tying run at home to end the game, as Chatfield topped L-A 9-8 in eight innings. The Gophers (5-5, 5-8) also took two from W-K to win their fourth in a row.  Caledonia (5-3, 6-4) beat Lourdes 8-7 in nine innings on a Reid Klug RBI-single, but fell to L-A 7-6 in eight innings. Ira Schmidt hit a home run as GMLOK topped Houston 9-2.  Tyson Stevens hit his third home run, but the Bulldogs fell to Lourdes 12-3. M-C ended a five-game losing streak by sweeping Schaeffer, 12-1 and 10-0. Kale Tollefsrud hit a home run in game two. Katryn Johnson hit a home run and struck out 11 as #7 in AA Chatfield softball topped L-A 7-1. Makenna Dornack hit a home run as the Gophers beat Lourdes 10-0. Chatfield then split two games with W-K. The Gophers (9-2, 13-2) lead the TRC-West over D-E (6-2, 8-4).  SG also went 3-1 on the week, sweeping AC/G-E 16-6 and 17-10, beating FC/L 9-6. Izabel Kaufman hit a home run, Sydney Holland drove in four runs in game one versus the Knights. Kendal VanMinsel and Claire Sherburne each drove in four runs in game two, VanMinsel hitting a home run. Aspen Kolling drove in four runs as GMLOK topped Houston 8-5, struck out 11 in a 12-2 win over SG. Julia Swenson hit a home run, then drove in four runs, as the Hurricanes rallied with wins over L/P 22-0 and FC/L 11-1. Houston (6-2, 11-3) and M-C (7-2, 9-3) trail Southland (8-1, 10-2) in the SEC race. Aiden Arnold shot a 39 but FC boys golf fell to La Crescent/Hokah 166-165 in a big TRC-East matchup.  Anthony Kiehne and Brock Sikkink shot 37s as FC topped R-P 157-167. Trojan Will LaFleur had a 39. Myleigh Scheevel shot two 42’s to medal for the Falcon girls at the meets. Caledonia’s boys won the five-team PIZM Tourney with Chatfield’s Carson Harstad (34/45) shooting a 79 (34/45) to take first over Warrior Coby Hammell’s 81 (37/44). Harstad also medaled with a 38 in a loss to PEM.  J.T. Hammell shot a 39 as Caledonia beat Cotter 174-179. The Warriors girls (7-0, 7-0) also beat the Ramblers.  Lanesboro’s Addison McCabe shot a 40 in a 183-215 win over Kingsland. Both Burro teams beat the Knights and Southland to improve to 6-0 on year.  GMLOKS’ teams swept first at a track meet in Eyota.
