Spring Grove volleyball swept Lyle/Pacelli to finish off its regular season. Fillmore Central volleyball got 10 kills and 17 digs from Kyla Hellickson in topping Rushford-Peterson 3-0. The Falcons (8-2, 13-15) finish tied for second in the TRC with Cotter (8-2, 21-4) behind Chatfield (10-0, 24-4). Benita Nolt recorded her 1,000th career kill and L-O swept Schaeffer. Paisley Robinson had 38 digs but Kingsland fell to Houston 3-0. SG (12-2, 21-7) is Section 1A’s 2-seed, will host the winner of 15-seed Blooming Prairie (7-21) and 18-seed Kingsland (5-21). FC (8-2, 13-15) is the 6-seed, will host 11-seed Wabasha-Kellogg (9-16). Rushford-Peterson (4-6, 10-13) is the 10-seed, will play at 7-seed Goodhue (16-12). L-O (8-6, 11-15) is 1A’s 13-seed, will host 20-seed Glenville-Emmons (0-18). Houston (6-8, 9-15) is 1A’s 16-seed, will host 17-seed Lyle/Pacelli (7-19) in a play-in match. Caledonia volleyball got 19 kills from Liv Myhre and 35 assists from Avery Augedahl in sweeping W-K. The #5-ranked Warriors (7-3, 19-9) are Section 1AA’s 3-seed, will host 14-seed PEM (10-18). Idle Chatfield (10-0, 24-4), ranked #2 in Class AA, is 1AA’s top seed, will host 16-seed St. Charles (4-22). Rushford-Peterson football lost a heartbreaker at W-K, scoring in the final minute to close to down 14-12, but failing on the two-point run. R-P (3-5, 3-5) is 1A’s five-seed, will play at 4-seed Wabasha-Kellogg (3-5, 3-5) to start the play-offs.
