Grand Meadow defenders Isabelle Fretty and Lexy Foster defend the net amidst the attack of Kingsland’s Morgan Phillips in the teams’ second SEC match-up. GM got the 3-0 sweep to sweep the season series. The West leading Larks ended the week 7-2 in the SEC, 12-6-2 overall.

Jovial King had 31 assists as Caledonia volleyball stayed TRC perfect with a 3-0 sweep of W-K. The Warriors (6-0, 11-8) are two wins behind Chatfield (8-0, 22-1) in the TRC standings. L-O volleyball won its two SEC matches on the week, beating L/P and G-E 3-0. Jenna Olson had 32 assists versus the Athletics. Jordan Runde had 19 (kills) and 14 (digs) and 4 (aces) versus the Wolverines, Olson 40 assists. GM volleyball swept Kingsland 3-0, and took second at the Pine Island tournament. The Larks (7-2, 12-6-2) lead the SEC-West over L-O (7-3, 9-10). Mabel-Canton won its two SEC matches, sweeping Lanesboro and Houston 3-0. Sahara Morken had 38 assists in each match. Kinley Soiney had team bests 16 and 13 kills over the two games. Spring Grove swept Schaeffer Academy 3-0. The Cougars (10-0, 25-2) lead the SEC-East over the Lions (8-1, 17-3). R-P won its two matches on the week, beating L-A and Kingsland each 3-0. The Trojans improved to 3-5, 12-6 overall. Corbin Ludemann ran for 162 yards a TD to propel GM football over LeRoy-Ostrander 22-6 in a rivalry game.
