GMLOK’s Emily Miner gets through first base as Houston’s Lilly Carr can’t quite come up with the throw amidst the teams’ second SEC match-up. The Bulldogs won the game 5-3, running their win streak to ten. John Fenske’s group have clinched at least a share of the SEC.

Emily Miner tossed two two-hitters with 22 combined strikeouts as GMLOK swept AC/G-E 21-1 and 6-1.  Miner (12-3 record) then struck out 12 and pitched a one-hitter in beating Houston 5-3 for GMLOK’s 10th straight win.  The Bulldogs (9-1, 13-3) have clinched a share of the SEC title.  Emily Carolan hit a home run in game one, and Gwen Tollefsrud had 5 RBI in game two, as M-C swept Schaeffer 15-0 and 21-2.  Ellie Anderson went 4-for-4 with 4 RBI as FC/L softball beat R-P 13-9.   Jensyn Storhoff was 4-for-4 as the Falcons beat Goodhue 5-1.  Justin Ruberg pitched a six-inning two-hit shut-out as R-P baseball beat FC/L 10-0.  Ruberg then struck out 10 in six innings as the Trojans beat SG 13-3.  Teammate Tommy Ekern hit a home run in the game.  Caleb Griffin struck out 10 in five innings as SG beat Houston 10-2.  L/P (10-2, 11-4), Southland (9-3, 10-5), the Lions (8-3, 9-5), and AC/GE (8-3, 9-6) top the SEC baseball standings.  Austin Swenson homered and had 4 RBI in Houston’s 30-combined-walk, 29-19 loss to Southland.  GMLOKS’ James Howard won four events at the SEC Meet, the 100, 200, 400, and Long Jump.  Both GMLOKS squads won team crowns at the event.  FC girls golf (6-0, 8-0) beat W-K 189-218 to sweep their TRC-East schedule and win the division.  Kingsland boys golf (7-0, 7-0) beat G-E 187-207 and Houston 196-226.  They lead the SEC.  Lanesboro’s boys won the Rebel Invite with Kaden Stettler medaling.  Burro Chloe Schnebly won on the girls side.  Jake Fishbaugher shot a 37 as FC’s boys beat W-K 168-233.
