Caledonia’s boys lost their first game, to #7 in D-II DeForest Wisconsin, 60-57 on a last second shot.  Cal started 17-0.  The Warriors then beat Lourdes 77-65, Eau Claire-Memorial 64-52, and #7 in AA Maple River 71-49.  Jackson Koepke had 27 versus the Eagles.  Koepke had 22, and Eli King 20, versus Eau Claire.  King had 25 versus MR.  The TRC-East leading Warriors (9-0, 20-1) have reached 20 wins.  Caledonia’s girls went 2-0, beating Triton 79-51 and Jackson County Central 90-54.  Alexis Schroeder had 22 points versus the Cobras.  Ava Privet had 22 and Sadie Treptow 20 as the Warriors (7-4, 15-8) scored a season-high versus JCC.  Kingsland’s girls (12-0, 16-8) beat M-C 52-20 to clinch the SEC-West title.  Chatfield’s boys (6-5, 13-6) went 3-1, beating Houston 75-34, D-E 65-54, and GM 80-46.  Five guys made double figures versus the Hurricanes.  Cole Johnson had 15 (pts) and 10 (asts) versus D-E.  Taylor Glynn had 21 for the Larks in that loss.  Chatfield’s girls went 3-1, beating LC/H 51-47, Kingsland 63-53 (ending the Knights’ six-game win streak), and Waseca 57-46.  The Gophers girls (7-5, 17-8) had multiple different leading scorers.  GM’s girls (9-2, 17-6) went 2-1, beating M-C 51-39 and Lanesboro 56-44 in a big SEC non-conference battle.  Lanesboro’s boys (6-5, 12-8) went 2-1, beating Houston 64-39 and GM 52-44.  Houston’s girls (8-4, 14-9) beat L-O 64-45 and L/P 55-38 to run their win streak to four.  Sydney Torgerson missed just thrice total (8-10 FGs, 9-10 FTs) in scoring 26 points versus L/P.  SG’s girls went 2-1, beating AC/G-E 68-38 and L-O 60-42.  Addyson McHugh had 27 versus the Knights.  Tanner Olson had 27 points as L-O’s boys came back from down 39-35 at halftime to beat Kingsland 78-67.  Walker Erdman had 22 in defeat.  Luke Hellickson scored 20 points as FC beat M-C 69-50.  Cayden Tollefsrud had 20 in defeat.  Tollefsrud scored 27 to lead M-C to a 69-55 win over G-E.  Section 1A team wrestling play-offs; #9 Triton (4-16) versus #8 FCLMC (10-10) winner takes on #1 Chatfield (13-1), #5 Caledonia/Houston (16-7) at #4 Kenyon-Wanamingo (22-8), #6 GMLOS (11-12) at #3 D-E (16-8).
