LARP wrestling notched wins over Triton (36-33), Waseca (48-28), and Rochester-Century (45-21) at the Cobras triangular, then beat Lake City (55-12). The Screamin’ Eagles (2-0, 11-0) stayed perfect on the year. Zach Plank (189), Owen Lange (127), Carter Cady (152), Christian Zibrowski (121), and Quintin Betthauser (145) each went 4-0 in said duals. Class AA #2-ranked Caledonia boys’ basketball went 3-0 on the week, beating W-K 70-33, Holmen 83-56, and Waverly-Shell Rock 64-61. Reid Klug and Ethan Stendel each scored 20 versus Holmen.  The Warriors (4-0, 6-1) have won four straight and lead the TRC-East over R-P (2-1, 5-1). Kingsland’s Parker Johnson scored 20 in a win over Hayfield (60-35). Teammate Max Erdman had 22 (pts) and 11 (rebs) in a 65-58 loss to Southland. Camden Hungerholt scored 24 and brother Reid 22 as L-O topped GM 70-49. Lark Logan Grafe went for 18 (pts) and 19 (rebs) in defeat.  The Hungerholt’s scored 25 and 20 points respectively also in a 70-66 loss to Schaeffer. Caledonia’s #6-ranked girls beat W-K 74-17 and Onalaska 45-32 before losing their first game to Iowa’s #5 in AAAA Waverly-Shell Rock 49-42. Aubrie Klug scored 24 and Josie Foster 20 versus the Falcons, where the halftime score was 46-0.  The Warriors (5-0, 8-1) lead the TRC-East over Cotter (4-1, 6-2). GM’s girls topped L/P 53-44 and AC/G-E 60-44 to run their win streak to four. Gracie Foster averaged 18.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in the two contests while Lauren Queensland scored 21 versus the Knights. Houston’s Aubry Boldt scored 20 and 28 points in wins over Southland (46-43) and Kingsland (64-49). The Larks (4-1, 5-1) and Hurricanes (3-2, 5-2) trail SG (2-0, 4-1) in the SEC.  Grace Schroeder scored 24 points as Chatfield beat North Fayette at the Border Battle 65-56.
