Golf: Warrior Girls Sweep to TRC Regular Season Title

After years of Fillmore Central (and also Caledonia) being the top two teams in the TRC-East golf division, this year’s race was basically one team. The Warrior girls ended the year topping their Falcon rivals 174 to 218 at the par-36 Harmony course. Said win clinched Theresa Ellenz’s group a perfect run through the league (8-0, 12-0 overall), the East title. Jazzlyn Hauser (39) was medalist but Ellison Harms (44), Hayden Harms (44), Emersyn Klug (47), Maggie Herman (50), Alexis Sauer (52) also shot 52 or better.  FC’s top two were Ella Diersen (46) and Maddie Topness (50).  The Warriors have been highly consistent this year with every team score between 172 and 185.  H-Harms, Hauser, and Herman have all medaled multiple times.  H-Harms (43.6) has the best nine-hole average in the 11 non-tourney events the Warriors have played, followed by Hauser (44.5) and Herman (45.4). Harms and Herman have each posted 39s in said events.  Caledonia also has three team tourney wins, at Hayfield, at RP, and at W-K.
