Glenn R. Woxland

Glenn R. Woxland, 72, of Rushford, Minn., died on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in Rushford. 

Glenn was born on April 16, 1948, in Rushford to Gerhard “Gilly” and Madeline (Eggebakken) Woxland. He grew up in Rushford and was a 1966 graduate of Rushford High School. Glenn graduated from Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, Minn. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On January 15, 1972, Glenn was united in marriage with Roxanne Loerch in Wilson, Minn. Glenn and his brothers purchased G.S. Woxland Plumbing and Heating in Rushford from their uncle. Glenn was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church, Rushford Lions, and the American Legion in Rushford. Glenn’s church and faith were very important to him. Glenn was very creative. He owned and operated Glenn’s Frame Shop in Rushford. He also enjoyed cooking, watching cooking programs, and searching recipes online. Glenn enjoyed music, Western Shows, gadgets, spending quality time with his grandchildren, siblings, and traveling. 

Glenn is survived by his wife Roxanne; daughter Trista (Brad) Bielefeldt of Waverly, Minn.; two grandchildren: Maxwell and Lillian; nine siblings: Donna James, Gary Woxland, Dan (Kirsten) Woxland, Rodney (Gayle) Woxland, Wayne (Sharon) Woxland, Craig (Joan) Woxland, Brad (Lori) Woxland, Pam (Terry) Rasmussen, and Brian (Sal) Woxland; many nieces and nephews, his many church friends, and his buddy, Molly, his Yorkie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Chad.

A private family service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3. Burial will take place in the Rushford Lutheran Cemetery. The family prefers memorials directed to Donate Life America. Cards and memorials may be mailed to Glenn’s family in care of Hoff Funeral Home, PO Box 625, Rushford, Minn. 55971.
