Glenis Pearl Loken, age 94, of Houston, Minn., died at Gundersen Tweeten Care Center in Spring Grove, Minn., on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
She was born October 5, 1928, in Money Creek, Minn., the daughter of James E. and Pearly (Ullan) Corey. Glenis enjoyed bingo, bowling and playing cards. She was a beloved wife, sister and aunt.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James A. Loken, and sisters Bernice (Herman) Forsyth, Betty (Ole) Thorson, Illa (Lyle) Sweet and Janet (Clifton) Johnston.
Memorials are preferred to Gundersen Tweeten Care Center. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Gundersen Tweeten Care Center and St. Croix Hospice.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Hoff Funeral Home in Houston, Minn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at a later date at Money Creek Cemetery. In honor of Glenis’ wishes, please dress casually.
