Caledonia girls golf had no trouble taking the 2026 TRC Meet. The Warriors put three in the top four and five in the top 10.  No other team had two in the top 10. Theresa Ellenz’s group (334) thus took first by 66 strokes over second place St. Charles (400).  Chatfield (406), R-P (407), FC (420), LC/H (424), and PEM (426) followed.  D-E, L-A, Cotter, and W-K were incomplete. After taking third a year ago, Warrior junior Jazzlyn Hauser (41/35 > 76) was meet medalist over last year’s champ, SC’s Makena Millard (42/38 > 80).  Hauser had one nine-hole round of all pars and a birdie.  Caledonia’s Maggie Herman (41/40 > 81) and Ellison Harms (47/40 > 87) took third and fourth.  Hayden Harms (90) and Emersyn Klug (93) took eighth and tenth.  E-Harms and Klug had seven and 10 strokes differences between rounds. R-P, FC, and Chatfield’s top golfers, Adalyn Colbenson (44/45 > 89), Ella Diersen (45/44 > 89), and Brynn Tweten (43/46 > 89) all tied for fifth place. FC’s Maddie Topness (95) and Cal’s Alexis Sauer (101) made the top 15 (of 44 golfers).  The meet was held at the 18-hole par-71 Eastwood Golf Course in Rochester.  A year ago, FC (362) topped Caledonia (368) for the girls team title.
