Three Rivers Girls Basketball (12/12 -12/15)

Fillmore Central 57, La Crescent/Hokah 43 (FC: K. Broadwater 24 pts (6-9 FTs), 8 rebs, 6 stls; Haley O’Connor 8 pts, 6 rebs; Aubrey Daniels 6 pts, 4 rebs, 6 asts, 4 stls. Falcons ended five-game series losing streak to Lancers that dates to 2020)

La Crescent/Hokah 44, Rushford-Peterson 66 (RP: Nadia Happel 14 pts; E. Ekern 13 pts, 6 rebs, 6 asts; Torryn Schneider 9 pts, 9 rebs, 5 asts. The Lancers had 32 turnovers. R-P hit 14 of 24 free throws (58%) to LCH’s 7 of 16 (44%))

Fillmore Central 44, #13 in AA Cotter 61 (FC: K. Broadwater 15 pts, 12 rebs; H. O’Connor 10 pts. C: Clarissa Sauer 31 pts. TRC-East leading Ramblers (4-0, 6-0) broke open a 27-21 halftime lead in the second half. FC had 35 turnovers. FC > 1-2, 3-3)

 

Southeast Conference Girls Basketball (12/11 – 12/13)

Houston 76, Southland 61 (H: A. Kingsley 26 pts (4-6 threes); Aubry Boldt 18 pts (7-12 FGs), 5 rebs; Emily Botcher 10 pts, 6 rebs; Olivia Yohe 10 pts; Jorja Meyer 9 pts, 7 rebs. Hurricanes got Botcher back after an injury versus Fillmore Central. They hit 8 of 16 threes (50%) and had 16 assists on 28 field goals)

Schaeffer Academy 47, LeRoy-Ostrander 37 (LO: Benita Nolt 16 pts (8-12 FTs), 15 rebs; Miranda Nagel 4 pts, 17 rebs, 7 stls)

 

Non-Conference Girls Basketball (12/12 – 12/16)

Houston 31, #3 in A Hayfield 70 (Hou: A. Kingsley 13 pts)

LeRoy-Ostrander 55, Faribault B.A. 67 (L-O: B. Nolt 19 pts, 12 rebs, 4 stls, 5 blks; M. Nagel 10 pts, 12 rebs, 4 stls; Keira Lewison 9 pts, 6 rebs, 7 asts; Maria Almaraz-Nolt 9 pts, 8 rebs)

Faribault B.A. 31, Rushford-Peterson 61 (R-P: E. Ekern 22 pts (9-13 FGs), 5 stls; T. Schneider 12 pts; Nad. Happel 10 pts. Trojans shot 49.1% (26 of 53). The game had 53 total turnovers. R-P > 1-2, 4-2)

Caledonia 48, Decorah 54 (C: J. Foster 23 pts; A. Klug 7 pts, 6 rebs. Border Battle game. Warriors > 3-1, 3-2)
