Southeast Conference Girls Basketball (1/30 – 2/2)

Lyle/Pacelli 24, Lanesboro 54 (L: Jensyn Storhoff 16 pts (4-10 threes), 4 asts, 5 stls; Ellie Howard 9 pts (3-12 threes). Burros hit nine threes (9 of 30) to L/P’s one (1 of 9) as the Burros ended a five-game losing streak)

Southland 28, Houston 56 (H: A. Kingsley 22 pts (9-13 FGs), 4 stls; Aubry Boldt 13 pts (6-10 FGs); Jorja Meyer 9 pts, 5 rebs, 4 stls. Houston built a 35-8 halftime lead and the 28 points against was their second lowest of the year)

LeRoy-Ostrander 42, Schaeffer Academy 53 (LO: Miranda Nagel 19 pts (5-7 FTs), 12 rebs, 4 blks; Benita Nolt 17 pts (4-5 FTs), 10 rebs, 5 stls, 4 blks. The Lions expanded a 23-22 halftime lead after intermission)

Lanesboro 56, Southland 45 (L: J. Storhoff 21 pts, 7 rebs, 5 asts, 6 stls; Hailey Erickson 19 pts, 9 rebs; Taylor Hanson 11 pts (5-7 FGs), 5 rebs. Down 30-25, Lanesboro had a 20-3 run to lead 45-33 in the second half. Burros were 1 of 19 from three (5%))

Spring Grove 67, LeRoy-Ostrander 45 (SG: K. Soiney 23 pts, 6 rebs, 4 asts; K. Hammel 21 pts, 8 rebs; Emerson Ingvalson 7 pts, 7 rebs, 6 asts, 7 stls. L-O: B. Nolt 18 pts (8-12 FTs), 11 rebs; Maria Almaraz-Nolt 9 pts; Jenna Olson 9 pts. The Lions’ full-court defense led to their early 20-2 lead in an eventual 22-point win. L-O 2-11, 2-18)

Grand Meadow 59, Lanesboro 43 (GM: G. Foster 17 pts (3-11 threes), 6 rebs, 4 asts; L. Queensland 15 pts; L. Foster 15 pts, 12 rebs. L: J. Storhoff 13 pts, 5 rebs, 6 asts; H. Erickson 13 pts, 7 rebs; E. Howard 9 pts (3-11 threes). GM had 21 offensive rebounds for 18 second-chance-points while Lanesboro had nine for four. Larks > 8-4, 14-8. Burros > 7-5, 10-12)

Non-Conference Girls Basketball (1/29 – 2/2)

Chatfield 53, Zumbrota-Mazeppa 68 (C: Evy Goldsmith 14 pts; Amaya Harmening 11 pts, 7 rebs; Taylor Ask 10 pts; Grace Schroeder 8 pts, 6 rebs. Z-M shot 40% (24 of 60), Chatfield 23% (16 of 70). The Gophers had 23 offensive rebounds)

LeRoy-Ostrander 29, St. Charles 41 (L-O: B. Nolt 17 pts, 11 rebs, 5 blks; M. Nagel 6 pts, 15 rebs, 5 blks. The halftime score was 14-13 Cardinals. It was the Saints’ first win (1-17))

Osage 45, Grand Meadow 61 (GM: L. Queensland 24 pts (3-7 threes), 8 rebs, 6 stls; L. Foster 20 pts, 8 rebs; G. Foster 12 pts. The Larks had just eight turnovers, while the Green Devils had 17. GM out-shot Osage 64 to 43)

Kee (Lansing Iowa) 50, Spring Grove 44 (SG: K. Soiney 13 pts, 9 rebs; K. Hammel 12 pts, 6 rebs; Both teams had the same number of rebounds, two-point and three-point field goals, but the Hawks hit 7 of 15 free throws while the Lions attempted only four going 1 for 4. Kee improved to 16-5)
