Historic Forestville and the Friends of Forestville have partnered with the Preston Area Community Foundation to present a free concert series at the historic site in Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park this summer.  The music series opened with a square dance led by Bob Bovee, Pop Wagner and Anni Spring on June 11.  Upcoming events feature rootsy music by local favorites River Crossing (4-6 p.m., July 2), an original Opry style show in the barn with Becky Schlegel (6-8 p.m., July 23), Root River Jam (6:30-8:30 p.m., July 30), and will be capped off by one of Minnesota’s most popular musicians, Charlie Parr (7:30-9 p.m., August 27).

Historic Forestville and Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park feature a very beautiful and majestic backdrop for this family-friendly musical event.  Scheduled tours and additional programming are also available at the historic site.  Parking for the music series will be in Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park and an annual park permit or day pass is required.
