LeRoy-Ostrander continued its excellent season and junior QB Camden Hungerholt again went nuts in a rivalry match-up with Grand Meadow. Hungerholt accounted for 564 yards of total offense in leading the #9 in 9-Man Cardinals to a 54-32 win. He ran for 340 with five TDs while passing for 224 yards with two more TDs. Carter Sweeney (5-116, TD receiving) and brother Reid Hungerholt (6-82, TD receiving) were his favorite targets. Logan Diemer (4-37 rushing) added a ground score. Ryder Stern was credited with 20 total tackles (10 solo). Hungerholt’s game overshadowed GM senior QB/RB Corbin Ludemann (28-228, 4 TDs rushing, 60-yard kick-off return TD). Dustin Stejskal (9-48 rushing) helped the Lark ground attack. Cardinals led 28-8 at halftime and 42-20 entering the fourth, scoring 14 points in each of the first three stanzas. L-O (6-1, 7-1) is Section 1 9-man’s 2-seed, will host 7-seed GM (1-6, 1-7) in quarters. In the contest, Hungerholt topped 2,000 yards rushing for the season (2,165) and upped his rushing TD total to 30. He has over 3,500 total yards offense (1,379 passing) and 42 total TDs (12 passing). It was his third 300-yard rushing game and third game with five or more rushing TDs.
