The Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s eight Scholar-Athlete award winners and 15 Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention selections. Chatfield senior Kaisen Johnson is one of eight Scholar-Athletes across the state. “We are thrilled to honor the outstanding accomplishments of this year’s Scholar-Athlete award winners and Honorable Mention selections,” said Todd Fultz, President of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation. “Every year, we are amazed by the well-rounded accomplishments of our local football student-athletes. The bar continues to rise higher and higher, which is really exciting to see. So many student-athletes are doing amazing things in the classroom, on the field and in the community. We can’t wait to highlight these stories and achievements during the Minnesota Football Honors show.” The Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation’s annual Scholar-Athlete Award honors Minnesota high school football players for their outstanding athletic, academic and community service accomplishments. Johnson and the other seven Scholar-Athletes were honored on April 19 during a private awards event at Huntington Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota. Kaisen is the son of Jeff and Kiley Johnson.
