For a third straight week, FC’s defense was not scored on. The #2 in Class A Falcons easily took down Wabasha-Kellogg 49-0 in Mid-Southeast-East action. The senior trio of Chase Christianson (8-8, 112 yards, 3 TDs passing), Jayce Kiehne (4-71, 2 TDs receiving, 6-66 rushing, 50-yard punt return TD), and Kyle Daniels (11-83, 2 TDs rushing, 4-yard TD reception) led the way. Kane Larson (6-55 rushing) and Anthony Kiehne (1-yard TD run) added ground work. FC also got two points via safety when a W-K punt went out of the end zone. W-K was held to negative 33 yards rushing and just two yards of total offense, two first downs. FC led 49-0 after three quarters. Christianson is now 22 of 23 for 192 yards and 5 TDs over his last two games (8:1 TD/INT ratio his last three games). Daniels has run for two TDs in back-to-back-to-back games. Kiehne has five multi-touchdown games this season. FC (7-0, 7-0) is the only MSE-East team that is undefeated, but they get K-W (6-1, 6-1) in week eight.
